Q: How does electronic scale mount to my fence?
A: For this kit, we use the existing T-slot on backside of the existing fence.
Q: How do the digital readouts mount to the existing stops?
A: Each stop needs 2ea M4 holes drilled and tapped for our brackets to mount. If you are comfortable adding these holes, you can send the stop(s) to our factory for processing; typical turnaround time is 3-4 days.
Q: How large are the digits on the readouts?
A: They are 1/2" tall, and very easy to read from a distance. And the LCD's contrast is adjustable.
Q: How long have you made these kits?
A: Since 1990.
Q: How are the readouts powered?
A: A lithium battery powers the readout for 12-18 months. It has automatic power off, and will wakeup when the stop is moved .010" or more.
Q: What units can the readout show?
A: Decimal inches to 3 places, Fractional inches in 16ths, 32nds, or 64ths. Metric in millimeters (2 places), or centimeters. You can choose to restrict available units as well. To change units, simply press the UNITS key once.
Q: Does the readout offer both absolute and incremental positioning modes?
A: Yes (available as an option). The incremental mode can be programmed to compensate for kerf cuts if desired.
Q: Where are these products made?
A: We are just outside of Asheville, NC. ALL components are sourced from USA suppliers.
Q: What is the product warranty?
A: 3 years from date of shipment.
